President’s Foreword Dear Friends, I am very proud and honoured to be your President for the coming season. I will try to do my best to fulfil my duties throughout the season. I wish to thank my fellow officers for all their support the past two years. My thanks go to my club White Oak for giving me their support. I look forward to working with Senior Vice President Wendy Borer and Junior Vice President Ann Thorpe. I’d like to wish everyone good luck in all competitions whether they are Nationals, Kents or Club; also good luck to all our Ladies playing in the Atherley Trophy. CHILD PROTECTION POLICY The Association is committed to promoting a safe environment in which children and vulnerable adults can enjoy taking part in games of bowls. It will seek to underpin and ensure this commitment by following and promoting the joint Child Protection Policy and Procedures of the National Governing bodies. The Officers of the Association will appoint a Child Protection Officer on an annual basis. The Child Protection Officer so appointed will have undergone appropriate training and will have received a certificate relating to Child Protection Issues.
