THE FINALS RESULTS 2023/24

The Valanndor Final was held on 12th April at Whiteoak Indoor Bowls Club. The umpire was Carol Watt- Sullivan. It was a very close competition with the winners Ashford winning  against Swale. Sandwiches, sausage rolls and other finger food was made available for the players after the match.

The County Finals for 2023/24 were held at Prince Arthur Indoor Bowls Club over two days. There was a lovely atmosphere at both days. The President of Prince Arthur handed over the green to the Ladies County President Dorothy Gee. The competitions were quite well attended  on the second day but the first day didn't particularly have many supporters.  Our thanks go to Prince Arthur for their hospitality and for the bar and cafe facilities.A raffle was held on the Saturday which raised £54. Thanks go to the umpires who were Michael Williams and Sue Mates.

The results were as follows: Championship singles was won by Diane Clark of Bromley, Under 25's was won by Isabelle Poulter of Mote Park, Pairs was won by Jane Jackson and Sue McClintock of Royal Tonbridge Wells, Triples won by Sue McClintock, Jane  Jackson and Sheila Huggett, Fours was won by Val Quinlan, Marion Johnson, Angela Sydney, and Diane Clark of Bromley, and the Over 60's was won by Elizabeth MacDonald of Bromley
