The semi- finals for  the Atherley Trophy took place on Saturday 22nd March 2025 at Victory Club in Portsmouth. After a very good start from our Kent ladies, the ladies from Dorset seemed to find their green and pulled back. It was very close for some considerable time but Dorset then startd to pull away so that in the end they won. The score was 124 for Dorset and 103 for Kent. The teams were as follows:-

Rink 1 was Mandy Merrells, Jean Phillips, Sharon Todd and Chris breeds

Rink 2 was Lesley Harris, Maggie Standley, Sheila Huggett and Sue McClintock

Rink 3 was Anne Rutland, Claire Cunningham, Sue Close and Cheryll Palmer

Rink 4 was Deidre Williams, Maddie McConomy, Julie Cooper and Yvonne Gambrill

Rink 5 was Jayne Turner, Pat Wells, Gauil Barnes, and Diane Clark

Rink 6 was Denise Armstrong, Sue Swanb, Hazell Larkin and Jayne Wood

A stirling effort by all the above players. A big thank you to all the supporters who went on the coach with them and cheered the teams on. Thanks go to Wendy Borer the manager and Cheryyl Palmer the team Captain.
